Our Warranty
Every CampVale light is covered twice: a one-year warranty on the whole unit, and a five-year promise on the thing we build it for — surviving salt air.
One-Year Warranty
For one year from delivery, if your light stops working the way it should — the solar panel, the motion sensor, the battery, the electronics, or any defect in materials or workmanship — we replace the unit free, shipping included.
This doesn't cover damage from impact, modification, disassembly, or installation contrary to the guide.
The Rust-Through Promise
If your CampVale light ever rusts through, we replace it. Free.
We build our lights for the hardest environment a light can live in: salt air. Stainless steel housing, corrosion-resistant internal hardware, 72-hour salt-spray tested. We stand behind that with a simple promise — if corrosion ever eats through your light within five years, the next one is on us.
- Structural rust-through of the housing or mounting hardware — corrosion that has penetrated the metal (a hole, crack-through, or structural failure caused by corrosion) — within 5 years of your delivery date.
- Every CampVale light installed at a residential property in the US, UK, Canada or Australia.
- Ship you a free replacement, shipping included. No repair fees, nothing to send back unless we ask.
- The replacement stays covered for the remainder of your original 5-year term.
- Surface tea-staining. Near the ocean, any stainless steel — on boats, railings, or lights — can develop light brown surface spots over time. It's a cosmetic surface deposit, not corrosion of the metal itself: it wipes away with fresh water and a soft cloth. Ask us for the care guide any time.
- Damage from impact, modification, or installation contrary to the guide.
- Units installed on watercraft, or on structures regularly submerged or below the high-tide line.
- Units bought second-hand or from unauthorized resellers.
How to claim (either warranty)
- Email support@campvale.com with your order number and 2–3 photos (one close-up, one of the whole light in place).
- We reply within 2 business days.
- Approved replacements ship within 5 business days. No forms, no return postage, no arguing.
These warranties are in addition to, and do not limit, your statutory consumer rights. Original purchaser, proof of purchase required. The terms in effect at your time of purchase apply to you.
